The first European festival was announced today – Helsinki Live in Finland on June 5:th. After having recently toured Canada together, Danko are really looking forward to sharing the stage with GNR once again! Stay tuned for more festival announcements next week.

I notice that Skunk Anansie is on the bill too; great band, and I’m happy they’ve reformed. Skin is one of the best rock frontpersons ever and has an incredible voice. British and European rockers loved them in the ’90′s. Hugely under-rated in North America though; perhaps they weren’t ready for a shaven-headed black lesbian belting down a microphone at them, and perhaps she didn’t fit in with some narrow idea of what a rock frontperson ‘should’ be.

Hi Guys, i’m here drinking a cold one, listening to wheels of confusion (Vol 4 by Sabbath), and thinking about the last year’s tour in Brazil, it was amazing have you guys here, and reading your thoughts about Axl, Bach and the Canadian Tour, it’s a little similar to what we experienced here, hangin’ out with you guys, sharing our love for Rock and Roll. Danko, when you think about the new bands to open your concerts this year, think about us!!!
